OUR FACILITY

Back in 2023, the City of West Monroe had a vision to bring an Indoor Sports Facility to our area that would allow large basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and any special event or occasion to be hosted at the facility. This 100,000+ square foot facility would house 16 volleyball courts, 8 basketball courts, and 10 pickleball courts across 70,000 square feet of uninterrupted, column-free space.. It would include a large concession stand, upstairs mezzanine seating, and state-of-the-art equipment. The facility opened in January 2024.

Aultman Volleyball Academy was established in November 2023, and they partnered with the WMSE to host Northeast Louisiana's first ever Youth Recreational Volleyball League in Spring 2024, which saw over 100+ participants. This partnership is what sparked the growth of volleyball in NELA - directly aligning with the vision the City had when building the facility.

Now, Aultman Volleyball Academy runs exclusively out of the WMSE complex for their Youth Leagues, Camps, Club Volleyball teams, and Private Lessons. We have seen over 500 unique athletes in just a short time play volleyball through our program. The facility has been a blessing to our program and community as we continue to grow the game of volleyball in NELA.
